Rich Vocabulary Vs. Strong Concept

What is more important ? A rich vocabulary or a strong concept ? To comment on critical isuues, both of these are required. You have to balance them all and optimize.
Unless you have a strong concept, words will not roll out from your mind. These stock of words come from your storehouse, otherwise known as your "Vocabulary". But is this vocab thing really that important? I don't feel so.
Its more important that you express yourself more clearly through your own writing. It should be the window to your inner self rather than being superflous in nature. It should be composed of simple and common words which people use daily and it shall make your subject more interesting. Whats the use, if the reader is not at all involved in what he or she is reading ?
Conclusion: Thought process is more important than anything else. Vocabbulary adds a glossy shine to it.

    that's bullshit man..i read this and i am like..duhhh...that's like..total crap man...and then he said...shut up ! and i am like...

(thoughts can be conveyed through the simplest of words - vocab enables you to use the right word at the right time. It might seem like a boasting act at times, because a good command over the language also tends to become an identity-defining factor. Agreed, superfluous words can be omitted, but the importance of vocabulary cannot be underplayed
